Which book first sparked your love of reading?

I loved so many books growing up but I distinctly remember binge-reading Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers series, and I think that was the first real page-turner that turned me into a reader for life.

To Kill A Mockingbird, I was amazed and I remember I could not put it down

There were so many books that were read to me as a young child, but the first “real” book I read on my own and loved was “Harriet the Spy”.

I was 8 years old and my mom brought me to the Library for the first time. She helped me pick out a book. The title of that book was “Pippi Longstocking”. She was such a cool and colorful young lady.

That bought was the one that created in me a love of books, libraries, book stores and authors.
