WWII favourite reads

Hi Y’all,

What are your favourite WWII non fiction books? Memoirs? Biographies?

I have a few of these.

The Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman

Frozen in Time by Mitchell Zuckoff

When Books Went to War by Molly Guptill Manning

Unbroken by Laura Heillenbrand

Double Cross: The True Story of the D-Day Spies by Ben McIntyre

Thanks BookBroad! They all seem like great suggestions. I’m currently reading The Ariadne Objective by Wes Davis. Once I’m done I think I’ll pick up Double Cross

I’ve never read that one. I’ll have to look it up

War genre books are some of my favorites, this is my War Genre book shelf. https://www.rifflebooks.com/list/256495

Thanks for the link Sharlene. I’m not much of a fiction reader within this genre although I have read " All the light we cannot see". That being said, I do keep passing the cover of “the Alice network” at my local bookshop, so I might have to give it a whirl.
